The Most annoying thing in our Digital Life is SPAM !! , Most of us configure our Company email account in our Local System for quick and offline email access. Many of us uses Outlook, Thunderbird or Mac Mail. So lets see how we can stop spamming on those in a better way.
There is a simple software Cloud Mark Desktop available for Windows and Mac which integrates with your email applications such as Outlook, Thunderbird or Mac Mail and filters the spam in a better way.
How to Setup
It’s very simple, Go to www.cloudmarkdesktop.com/en/download and download your copy.
Install the application as you normally do.
How to add your email account for SPAM filtering!
Windows
When you install Cloudmark DesktopOne, it automatically detects the email accounts that are already configured on your computer in any of these email applications:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Outlook Express
- Windows Mail
- Windows Live Mail
- Mozilla Thunderbird
You can use the Accounts window to add other accounts.
- In the system tray, right-click the Cloudmark logo.
The pop-up menu appears. - Select Accounts….
The Accounts window opens. Email accounts that are already configured are displayed here. - Click Add Account….
The New Account window appears. It displays a list of email accounts that are already configured on this computer.
- To filter an account that is already configured, select it in the list.
DesktopOne tests the settings you entered to verify that they are correct. - Click Finished.
The account you configured is now enabled for filtering. - To Whitelist a domain or email address, Launch the CloudMark by clicking the Icon on system tray.
Then click configure
- Add domains or email address to whitelist
- Click Apply and OK.

Mac – OS X
When you install CloudMark DesktopOne, it automatically detects the email accounts that are already configured on your computer in any of these email applications:
- Outlook 2011
- Mozilla Thunderbird
You can use the Accounts window to add other accounts
- Launch Cloudmark DesktopOne. The Accounts window opens. Email accounts that are already configured are displayed here.
- Click Add Account… to open the pop-up menu.
- Select the type of email account you want to add, either Mail, Outlook, or Thunderbird.
- Click Finished. The account you configured is now enabled for filtering.
